After news of Davichi Kang Min Kyung's father's fraud became public, it seems that the singer was beset on all sides by malicious comments from netizens, though she may have had nothing to do with the incident involving her father. The comments got so bad that even her label CJ E&M has stepped forward to take matters into their own hands.
The label released an official statement Friday which went, "CJ E&M's music business division intend to take action against the malicious comments directed toward our artist Kang Min Kyung in order to protect her integrity and guard her rights and interests. The malicious comments are obscene and abusive enough to be considered sexual harassment, and groundless rumors [about Kang Min Kyung] are being indiscriminately published."
