Kim Hyun Joong and his ex-girlfriend Ms. Choi have both been ordered by the Seoul family court to take DNA tests.
Ms. Choi's representative revealed on December 9, "Kim Hyun Joong and Ms. Choi will be taking DNA tests to prove the child's parentage at a hospital on December 14. It looks like the results will be out a week afterwards. Kim Hyun Joong's paternity over the child will be proven then."
As previously revealed, Ms. Choi demanded Kim Hyun Joong take a paternity test this past September. Though he agreed, he requested the test be taken through the private company of his choice. Ms. Choi denied the request, and now the courts have ordered the two sides to take DNA tests at Seoul National University Hospital.
Kim Hyun Joong is currently serving his mandatory military service after starting this May. He'll be fined $8,447 USD (10 million Won) if he does not take the DNA exam.
