On October 2, a rep from YG revealed to media outlet 'The Daily Sports,' "Not only do we have to reveal the businesses partaking in sajaegi but we also have to expose who these artists are in order to completely eliminate the practice of sajaegi." Yang Hyun Suk had been one of the most outspoken critics on the sajaegi controversies that have stormed the music industry. He was even said to have applauded J.Y. Park and Lee Seung Hwan when they appeared on JTBC's 'News Room' to give their candid two cents on the matter. Yang Hyun Suk firmly believes that sajaegi can certainly be eradicated if the prosecution decides to aggressively pursue the issue.
The rep relayed, "We saw the interviews of J.Y. Park and Lee Seung Hwang and agree completely. Many are hoping that this issue, which has deeply penetrated the music industry, will be thoroughly investigated."

YG added, "That the charts were manipulated and that the public rely on the manipulated results to consume music, is very shameful. If the prosecution is willing enough, then the roots can definitely be eradicated. The public wants the names of not only the businesses but also the artists [that practice sajaegi] to be exposed. We also wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment."
