Leessang's Gil has been mainly out of the spotlight ever since his drunk driving incident in April 2014. But this summer, he was reported to release a solo album after Gary's solo album, although that hasn't happened yet. And now his agency Leessang Company gave fans an update on Gil.
Leessang Company told StarNews, "Gil recently got his driver's license again."
They added, "It's true that Gil is preparing for his solo album. His exact release date is undecided."
The day before their agency gave an official statement, Both Gary and Gil performed at a music festival at 'Let's Run Park Seoul' where Gil briefly updated people on what he was up to.
The two introduced each other, and Gary said, "He's finished his long self-discipline," but Gil corrected, "I still haven't finished the self-discipline."
Gary then corrected himself, "He hasn't finished yet. Gil Sung Joon, who is in the middle of a long self-discipline."
Gary also shared, "Gil also passed his driver's test on his second try. Two weeks ago. He seriously failed the first time, but he tried again and passed."
