In commemoration of the group's ten-year anniversary, Super Junior has announced the upcoming release of their special album 'Devil,' which will drop on July 16! The album, which was first unveiled during the encore of Super Junior's 'Super Show 6' held at Olympic Gymnastics Arena, is said to include a colorful variety of genres including dance, pop, ballad, for a total of ten songs. The MV teaser for the album's title track, "Devil," was already released three days ago so check it out here if you haven't done so already!
This particular album will be all the more special as it will showcase composition from the members themselves. Donghae and Eunhyuk, who branched out from Super Junior to perform under D&E, partook in the songwriting process, along with Zhoumi who is said to have written a song specially for the fans. That isn't all. Super Junior has invited other singer-songwriters on board for help in composition of their new album. Super Junior K.R.Y collaborated with singer Lee Seung Hwan to write a rock ballad track called "We Can," alternative rock band Jaurim's lead singer Kim Yoon Ah also produced a song called "Rock'n Shine," and yet another producer Epitone Project composed a song for the album, titled "Star is Rising." Further, Super Junior T collaborated with indie rock band Rose Motel to write a song called "Love At First Sight."
Just looking at the line of producers at the participation from the members, the album is sounding promising!
The album will officially drop at midnight on July 16 via music portals, and the group plans to start promoting their new album by first appearing on 'M! Countdown' and then various other music shows.
