Solo artist Ivy appeared on the May 26 broadcast of SBS's 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' and explained why she actually preferred being a musical actress. She's been promoting as the latter for a while now without releasing solo music.

She said, "I like [being a musical actress] more if anything. I was lonely as a solo artist. There was no one to talk to. When I went on music shows, I would go out there at daybreak for the rehearsal, and that was difficult.

Ivy went on, "There are a lot of things to do with musicals; I end up maintaining my physique well, and because I need to act [in close quarters with other actors], I brush my teeth and wash my hair often. Honestly, I didn't worry about those thingswhen I was promoting as a solo act. There was a time I was shocked by the smell of another actor's breath while doing a musical, so I ended up taking care of myself well," making everyone laugh.
