Yewon tweeted on January 27, "I wonder when you will listen to the minority voices. I'm upset. Really." She has previously posted a photo to Twitter along with a message that said, "The heart of those who prepared banners to congratulate me. They had to spread [the banners] on the ground because my company wouldn't respond. Thank you so much, and I'll apologize instead. I'm sorry."
The banners had messages in support of Jewelry's 4th anniversary, such as, "Yewon and Semi. Great work. You did well. Jewelry will go on forever for the fans. Thank you for everything. Jewelry forever."
Star Empire Entertainment made an official statement the same day:
"We'll be discussing Yewon's tweet and uploads. This situation arose because of Jewelry's 4th anniversary since debut. We judged that the timing wasn't right due to Jewelry's official disbandment. In the midst of communicating details, we made a mistake by being late. Yewon made the tweet after seeing the tweets that fans posted. There was a misunderstanding caused by miscommunication between the fans and agency, and we've cleared it all up with Yewon and the fans. We sincerely apologize for not checking more attentively. We apologize."
