Recently, a slight controversy arose after actor Son Ho Joon, who was already set to appear in variety show 'Laws of the Jungle', took suddenly over Jang Geun Suk's place in 'Three Meals a Day'. Since the two shows air in the same time slot as competing programs from different broadcast stations, the 'Laws of the Jungle' team previously lamented at the situation as this means ratings will be split between the two shows as fans pick and choose which show they want to watch to see the actor. For this reason, double booking by a celebrity is often frowned upon by broadcast stations and shows, as it is considered to be bad business ethics.

However, Producer Lee Young Joon of 'Laws of the Jungle' proved there were no hard feelings with the actor during the press conference for the show on January 27 at the SBS building. He said, "Son Ho Joon did nothing wrong. The perfect expression to use is that this is unfortunate. Ho Joon was Little Kim Byung Man as he lived in the jungle so well. He survived well and he took such good care of his younger [castmate], Baro. I didn't expect this from him since he often showcased his slightly clueless and foolish side on 'Youth Over Flowers'. However, he unexpectedly did so well that I was completely surprised.
I even personally sent Son Ho Joon a message saying that he diligently did so well for which I am grateful. Regardless of whether it's right or wrong in business ethics, I just find it unfortunate for Son Ho Joon [about this situation]."
The first episode of this edition of 'Laws of the Jungle' will be on January 30.
