After the episode had aired, J.Y. Park tweeted nervously, "While filming for 'Roommate,' I got excited and sang one of the new songs that I wrote. Let me know what you guys think after you watch it."

The producer also added, "If you say that you like it then I will finish the second verse and put it into my next album... I've been judging other people's songs until now, [but now that I've released one of mine] I'm nervous." 

Before singing the song, J.Y. Park revealed that the title was set as "When You Close The Door," and also stated that it was a song about a girl who has an innocent appearance but has a totally different charm when she is alone with him.
