TVXQ's Japanese album 'Tree' topped Oricon's Monthly Album Chart for March with a sale of 252,155 copies. However, this is not all as the number of sales qualifies TVXQ for "Platinum" status!
According to the RIAJ, or Recording Industry Association of Japan, an album needs to sell over 250,000 copies to be certified "Platinum," and the RIAJ website was recently updated showing that 'Tree' was certified "Platinum".
Congratulations to TVXQ on this achievement!
