Big Bang's Daesung will be releasing his first solo single in Japan.
The single titled, "I Love You", is a remake of a song originally sung by Ozaki Yutaka, a song that has received love not just in Japan but in Korea as well. His song is also going to be the main theme of a Japanese drama of the same name, produced by Avex and Softbank.
For the single, Daesung also worked with Japan's famous violinist Hakase Taro, who also worked with big artists such as Celine Dion.
Daesung said, "Ozaki Yutaka's 'I Love You' is very famous and well loved, so I was a little pressured, but I like the song so much, and decided to try it. I'm honored to be working with Hakase Taro. His violin and my voice worked well to create a new 'I Love You'."
The song will be released on July 31!
