Lee Yi Kyung will not be leaving 'Nine'.
He's recently had his license suspended after being caught drunk driving, but with the show already well into filming, the drama has decided not to replace him. tvN said, "After much thinking, the staff of 'Nine' has decided not to replace Lee Yi Kyung."
Currently, Lee Yi Kyung plays the young Han Young Hoon in the drama. The staff said, "He's reflecting over his actions, and because of the drama filming, we cannot replace the actors now. We made our decision after thinking deeply. To be honest, he doesn't have that big of a part, so it looks like they decided to keep him on the drama."
According to his agency, Lee Yi Kyung had not driven himself the whole way home for he had hired a driver to take him back. However, he got out near his house to park the car himself when the police caught him.
