A bit of controversy was sparked last month with Supreme Team's E-Sens's comments made on twitter towards comedians who imitated hip hop artists. But it seems he and Brave Guys, whom the public assumed he was directing his comments at, have resolved any misunderstandings that may have been lingering between them.
His tweets immediately gained the attention of the public, who assumed that the E-Sens was directing his comments toward the comedian team Brave Guys from the popular program 'Gag Concert'. Although E-Sens tried to clear it up later that he was not directly aiming his tweets toward a particular group of people, Brave Guys unexpectedly issued out a statement saying that they would no longer be releasing music after their first album.
Brave Guys also later apologized for putting out songs that took away the spotlight of singers when their area of expertise is not music. They stated that their decision had nothing to do with E-Sens's comments at the time, and it seems behind the scenes, they and the rapper had been communicating to resolve any misunderstandings that may have been between them.
Park Sung Kwang commented at a press conference for 'Gag Concert', "We have resolved our misunderstandings and there is no discomfort whatsoever between us now... I know Supreme Team's Simon D, so I heard from him that E-Sens definitely did not mean [for his tweets to be understood by us that way]. We also met with Dynamic Duo and talked with them and resolved misunderstandings as well."
Another Brave Guys member Jung Tae Ho revealed that his team had gone through a bit of backlash then as he commented, "To be honest, we had a difficult time due to the negative comments on SNS (social networking sites). However, we also think that it's freedom of expression."
