A set of screenshots titled 'Psy and J.Y. Park's conflict of opinion' is gaining the attention of netizens.
The first picture is a screenshot of J.Y. Park on MBC's 'Knee Drop Guru', in which he is discussing his opinions on Korean artists entering the foreign market. The caption on the bottom reads, "Something that is Korean may not always be global".
The second picture is a screenshot of Psy during an interview, in which he said something that was very similar yet, completely opposite. He said, "I think something that is the most Korean may be the most global. I think that perhaps that the reason I was able to help spread Korea to the world is because I have an extremely common Korean face."
Netizens who saw the picture commented, "It's Psy's total victory", "Something that is Korean will be newer overseas", "Psy's words were right", "Both of them make sense", "Actions speak louder than words", and "But is Psy's song something that can be really considered Korean?".
What are your thoughts?
