On the May 22nd broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Win Win', Kangta confessed that he once considered Baek Ji Young as more than just a friend, shocking audience members and even Baek Ji Young herself.

Kangta, who is known to be good friends with the singer, stated, "There was one time I thought of Baek Ji Young as a woman. When I was in the army, noona wrote a letter to me on very pretty stationery. She had a femininity to her that I had never seen before. The letter didn't have any meaningful content as we were not dating, but just considering the fact that she didn't forget about me, and sent me a letter made me see her more feminine side."

Upon hearing Kangta's story, Leessang's Gil, who was another surprise guest on the episode, added, "I once felt her maternal side too. Before I went on stage, noona straightened out my outfit for me. At that moment, I felt her mother-like love."
