Netizens are loving G-Dragon's official light stick.
On an online forum, netizens shared real-life photos taken by fans who visited the official MD booths at G-Dragon's media exhibition, 'Übermensch.' His new light sticks are shaped like daisy flowers, featuring thick petals and stems that can be secured in a matching cradle shaped like a flower pot.
When lit, the flower light stick can also glow in multiple bright colors, with each petal displaying a different shade of the rainbow.
The official mini light keyring follows the same daisy design but in a smaller size.
According to these fan-taken photos, the pot cradle also lights up, allowing it to function as a mood lamp.
One factor that gave netizens pause was the price. The light stick itself costs 55,000 KRW (~38 USD), the cradle alone costs 25,000 KRW (~17 USD), and the mini keyring is priced at 27,000 KRW (~19 USD).
Despite the high prices, reactions to the photos were largely positive. Even non-fans commented that they’d like to buy the light stick and keyring. Many also noted that although each piece is sold separately, they’re so well-designed that they could double as stylish interior décor.
