SECRET found themselves unusual back-dancers at the 'Blade & Soul' game promotional event that took place recently.
The group participated in an usual event on April 21st which signified the meeting of K-pop and games. The girls of SECRET performed in front of the crowd gathered for game company NCSoft's 'Blade & Soul - Soul Party', promoting the upcoming launch of the game.
As usual, the group put on fun and upbeat performances for their hit songs such as "Shy Boy" and "Love is Move". However, what caught the attention of many this time around was the incorporation of game characters as back-dancers for the performances.
Four cat game characters could be seen mimicking the exact choreography of SECRET's hit songs on the LED screen, thus becoming virtual back-dancers for the girls. The characters pulled off distinct moves characteristic of each of the SECRET members, surprising the audience as well as the group, themselves.
Member Sunhwa commented during an interview, "We were surprised seeing the characters mimicking each of the members' movements."
The girls also sported specially designed stage outfits designed by 'Blade & Soul's art director, Kim Hyung Tae, incorporating themes and elements found in the game.
With games and K-Pop both becoming two of the hottest industries representing Korea, the combination of the two is sure to provide a synergic effect in helping further spread Hallyu.
