R&B singer Jay Park's new album 'New Breed' recently took the number four spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. The achievement was made despite Park not doing any promotions in the States for the release. Another notable charter is Girls' Generation, whose US maxi single charted right behind Park for the fifth spot.
This is not the first time for Jay Park's albums to chart overseas. The 24 year old's first studio effort, 'Take a Deeper Look' also managed to earn a place on the same chart just last year. Aside from Billboard, the album took the #1 spot on the American iTunes R&B charts. New Breed has also shown much success in other countries as well, charting #3 on the Australian iTunes R&B charts and #5 in the Japanese iTunes R&B charts.
Meanwhile, Jay Park is currently preparing for his first solo concert on March 3rd.
