After being discharged from the army last November, actor Joo Ji Hoon was scheduled to make his comeback with a role in the musical, "Doctor Zhiyago".

However, due to issues with his vocal chords, his management Key East has confirmed that Joo Ji Hoon will instead be starring in the upcoming movie, 'I Am a King'.

With a story similar to 'The Prince and the Pauper', 'I Am a King' takes place in the Chosun era and follows Sejong (Joo Ji Hoon), a man of royalty who exchanges identities with a beggar (also played by Joo Ji Hoon) with the goal of experiencing a different life with different people before taking the throne.

The drama is directed by Jang Gyoo Seong and is scheduled to begin filming in February.
