Actor Jang Geun Suk recently displayed his generous nature.
At the third annual 2011 Asia Jewelry Awards auction event that took place on the 6th, Jang Geun Suk successfully won the bid for the crown that was worn by Miss Korea in 2009.
He was up against another female for the item, and the bid began at roughly $3,200 USD, but Jang Geun Suk placed a higher bid of $4,400 USD, successfully winning the item.
The proceeds from the auction were donated to UNICEF to help less fortunate children all over the globe.
Jang Geun Suk also previously garnered attention for donating over $1,060,820 at Hanyang University, where he is currently enrolled.
