Back on July 4th to the 9th, Lee Hyori traveled to Mumbai, India with World Vision to help out the people living in poverty and also meet her sponsored child. It was also revealed that Baekga came along as well. While in the slums of Mumbai, she met with families that are living on 2000 WON (approx. $1.88) a day. She visited her sponsored child and said, "It feels like I'm looking at myself when I was little. I hope these kids don't lose their dreams and grow up confidently." She also visited an elementary school and scooped up meals onto plates herself. She said, "It was so sad to see kids use other kids' container tops because they don't have containers themselves to carry food in. I want to gift the 3500 students all food containers." On the last day, she met a 5-year-old child. The child traveled 20 hours to see Lee Hyori but didn't show a sign of tiredness when he saw Hyori.
