Earlier today it was announced that Google has partnered with Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) 2011 to air their event live through Youtube. The event is scheduled to be held in Tokyo Shibuya on March 5th and it's purpose is to help spread Japanese fashion trends to the rest of the World. Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) is a semi-annual fashion event and many popular artists and models participate. Artists performing at this year's TGC 2011 include w-inds, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, FUNKY MONKEY BABYS and JAMOSA. Korean artists 2PM and After School will also perform at the event! With the partnership with Google this year, TGC will be able to air the fashion show event live via Youtube through their official channel (TGC2011SS) Additionally, people watching will be able to purchase clothes that relates to the fashion show. The channel will go live with the broadcasting on March 5th at 2PM Japanese time and will air in real time for 7 hours.
