Singer Suh Jung Ah was busy promoting her second album, Do You Want to Come Along, back in 2009 when she was diagnosed with cancer and had to stop all activities. When Jung Ah first visited the hospital for a common cold, she was told that she had thyroid gland cancer. As a result, she received a major surgery that involved making an incision in her neck area to remove cancer cells. Jung Ah, who had to spend a difficult year enduring treatments for the cancer, was finally able to rise back on stage. On KBS's National Singing Competition airing August 8th, Jung Ah sang the song, Do You Want to Come Along, her second title track she sung last year. She was shown singing the song in a heartfelt manner where her voice seemed slightly choked from tearing. The singer expressed, "I want to pay back the fans who gave lots of love and cheered for me to come back on stage after a long time away from battling cancer. Therefore, I plan to have a busy schedule and show myself more." Meanwhile, Suh Jung Ah, with her slim body and charismatic voice, is becoming more popular for singing an OST for the drama "Beijing My Love" titled "The Word of Love."
