The Central Election Commission on the 10th announced that KARA will be the goodwill ambassadors for the nationwide local elections taking place on June 2nd. A representative of the Central Election Commission said, "The ambassadors for these elections couldn't just have been someone popular. We wanted someone with a clean image to become the ambassadors." The Central Election Commission hopes that KARA will help attract young voters to the polls to further boost voter turnout.
