There has been a lot of speculation recently as to who will play the female lead and romance Lee Seung Gi in the new drama, My Girlfriend is a Nine Tailed Fox. Anticipation is high among fans as Lee Seung Gi is someone who ensure high ratings no matter what he does and whoever gets partnered with him is likely to become popular as well. This will also be Lee Seung Gi's comeback drama since Shining Inheritance last year. A production staff confirmed on the 29th, "We are still looking and discussing over the possible female actresses to play the lead role. It's not finalized as yet but we are expecting to announce our decision sometime next week. 2NE1's Sandara Park was never considered for the role and we aren't sure why she was being speculated. Lee Min Jung, Shin Se Kyung are two actresses who have a high possibility but we are not ruling out others yet." Filming will begin once the cast is decided.
