Asian superstar Rain and Olympic gold medal winner Kim Yuna are vying for spots in Time Magazine's 2010 edition of their annual 100 Most Influential People List. The two Korean stars are up against other luminaries such as United States president Barack Obama, music legend Patti Smith and Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Rain is being acknowledged for the popularity of his music as well as his acting roles in Ninja Assassin and Speed Racer. Yuna is recognized for her gold medal win at this year's Winter Olympics. Rain took the top spot in 2007 beating out Stephen Colbert which resulted in a hilarious rivalry and dance-off. The current standings are:
