Evan watched his ex-girlfriend getting married to someone else? The song was based on an experience that happened a few years ago. He was asked by a friend to sing for someone's wedding. When he arrived, he unexpectedly met face to face with his ex-girlfriend... and she was wearing a white wedding dress. Sounds a lot like Taeyang's Wedding Dress, right? Evan said that the moment seemed like a scene from a movie. He translated the emotions he felt into the lyrics of the song. He said, "I never thought that I would see her there and then. The moment I saw her standing there, smiling in a white wedding dress, my heart seemed to stop. I could only watch her from afar and wish for her happiness." He also revealed, "I never made a woman cry, but I cried because of a woman once. I tried not to cry but... when she told me that she wanted to break up, I could not control my tears."
