Suho is a rapper who debuted in 2006 with his single Thank U. The single got pretty good reviews despite the lack of attention/fame that followed the release. Throughout all of Suho's albums and singles he has had the help of many talented singers such as KCM and ex-G.O.D member Kim Tae Woo. But, to be frank, the collaborations are the only reason this guy is known in the K-pop world. Yesterday, Suho's new mini album entitled "LoveLy" was released and this time around he had the honor of collaborating with one of my all time favorite singers, Kim Bum Soo. Here is a full review of the mini-album: Track 1: LoveLy Feat. YG Family's Jieun: I like this song a lot because it's so catchy. The chorus is filled with a great melody from YG's female vocal star Ji Eun. This is the title song for the album and it was a great choice. In an interview he stated that he was trying to capture the dirty south style of hip hop with this song. Check out the music video below! Track 2: BaBy I Love U Feat. Sohn Ho Young Featuring Sohn Ho Young is unsurprising to me. For those of you who don't know Sohn Ho Young was also a part of G.O.D and since Kim Tae Woo is currently in the army, Suho chose the next best singer from G.O.D. This track tones it down for the rest of the album. Track 3: Skit A women is on the phone. The person she is calling has a call back ringtone of the next song. The phone call goes to the voice mail and she gives a sigh and hangs up. Track 4: Missed Call (부재' 전") Feat. Kim Bum Soo Now we get to my favorite track of the album. This song is what inspired me to write this article. This collaboration with Kim Bum Soo is the best Suho has ever had. Kim Bum Soo is one of my all time favorite singers and is the reason why I started listening to K-pop. A slow, sad song. Check out the music video below! Track 5: Passed Words (지나가" 이야기) (Feat. Juny) I have never heard of Juny before but it seems that he is pretty talented. Hitting falsettos with his husky voice was quite pleasing to my ears. This song is founded on a guitar part that loops through the entire song. In the second verse the beat drops. Track 6: Missed Call (부재' 전") Instrumental: Anyone wanna sing with me? Overall I give the album a 4.5 out of 5. The only reason I like the album is because of the collaborations. Again, Suho would be nothing without the other artists who were featured on the album. If you liked old Kpop group Vibe or MC Mong, this album is for you. It is definitely worth the 30 mb of space on your computer so, go download!
