Rolling Quartz, a band known for its energetic rock spirit, has released the music video for their digital single ‘Stand Up’.
This track precedes the release of their EP scheduled for June 19th, offering fans a rock/metal song packed with live presence and energy. Aimed at bridging the gap for fans who have been eagerly waiting for new music, ‘Stand Up’ serves as a testament to the band’s commitment to their fandom.
The music video creatively incorporates a modern dance interpretation of Korea’s traditional Bongsan mask dance, drawing on the similarities between shuffle rhythms and Korean traditional percussion patterns. It also features a crossover with the lion dance, integrating elements of traditional and modern performances.
The video showcases a sophisticated blend of Eastern and Western cultures, including the use of mother-of-pearl inlay crafts depicting the ten traditional symbols of longevity on LED screens to evoke the feel of an Oriental folding screen.
Having marked their presence globally through tours in the USA and Europe, Rolling Quartz continues to expand their reach. They have recently participated in the Philippines’ largest rock festival, ‘Pulp Summer Slam XX’, and the ‘Anime Detour 2024’ animation convention in Minneapolis, USA.
Following their EP release in June, the band plans to embark on tours in Australia, the USA, and Europe, further solidifying their international fan base.
