Terror-action film 'Decibel', directed by Hwang In Ho, has confirmed its premiere date for November 16.
'Decibel', starring Kim Rae Won, Lee Jong Suk, Park Byung Eun, Jung Sang Hoon, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, and more, revolves around a fierce and frightening chase between a terrorist who has planted bombs all across Seoul, and a former navy commanding officer who continues to receive threats from the terrorist right before each bomb goes off.
In the film's main trailer above, former navy commanding officer Kim Rae Won leaps into action to save a young child as a bomb goes off inside a public buliding. The next target is a seat inside the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, where a thousands of people are watching a soccer match.
A flat, emotionless voice warns Kim Rae Won over the phone, "These are bombs that activate based on sound. They explode when the the sound intensity exceeds 100 dB." The bomb terrorist is Lee Jong Suk, another former naval officer.
As Lee Jong Suk continues to target populated areas across Seoul and Kim Rae Won chases down each location, various scenes allude to the complicated past of the two characters. Meanwhile, an on-site news reporter (Jung Sang Hoon) follows Kim Rae Won's trail, a Defense Security Support Command Chief (Park Byung Eun) is trying to find out what's going on, and a navy sonar technician (Cha Eun Woo) is also assigned to the case.
