On February 27, SHINee appeared as a guest on the latest installment of 'IU's Palette'!

On this episode, IU and the members of SHINee fondly reminisced about debuting and promoting around the same time. SHINee recalled, "Because we saw [IU] every day back then, rehearsing for music shows, we would even watch the rehearsals and be like, 'Oh, she's suddenly dancing now?'". Hearing this, IU burst into laughter. She also brought up past instances where she performed collaboration stages with Key and Taemin, and filmed a mini drama with Minho. It turned out, Onew was the only member IU has never had a collaboration with!

IU then went on to talk about how she has always wanted to collaborate with IU vocally. She commented, "I think of you as the most ideal male vocal. I've always thought, 'If I were a man, I would definitely want to sing like him.' And your tone never changes. It's natural for vocalists' tones to change with age, and my voice has also changed very much, but your voice always stays the same. It always has such a youthful tone. When Onew is singing ballad songs and reaches the high notes, I've always been impressed by how there is no showing off or being extravagant, but it still rings the heart. Whenever I've talked about a male vocalist I would like to work with, I've always thought of Onew."

Hearing this, Onew couldn't help but hide his embarrassment, pointing to himself and going, "Me?". Nodding, IU continued, "Yes! I hope that we can collaborate together in the future." 

Next, IU and SHINee decided to cover each other's songs! First, IU sang her very own version of SHINee's "Sherlock", making the SHINee members groove. SHINee on the other hand chose IU's "Dear Name" and delivered a beautiful vocal performance, which IU praised.
