Mommy Son is looking to discover the next generation of rappers.
On February 22, the infamously unidentified rapper uploaded a teaser for an upcoming rap battle program through his official YouTube channel.
In the video, he is making a list of things he feels will save hip-hop. Among those things include rapper Beenzino's military discharge, rapper Genius Nochang's return, controversial nightclub Burning Sun going out of business, and excavating the hip-hop 'tree of dreams'.
After Mommy Son circles the last one on the list, preview clips of contestants from his upcoming rap battle series are shown. Entitled 'Mommy Son and Friends: Middle School Rapper,' the program appears to be a continuation to the 'High School Rapper' series, now choosing to highlight middle school talents instead.
