The first season of Mnet's dance + romance reality show 'Somebody' came to an end on February 8.
On this episode, the 5 male and 5 female dancers from all genres prepared to wrap up their month-long homestay, packing up their belongings and reflecting back on the time they spent together. The male dancers were also tasked with expressing their current feelings toward one female member for the last time through dance. The female cast members, in turn, were allowed to attend various showings of the male cast members' final dance films; however, Jung Yeon Soo and Maeng Yi Seul chose to leave the homestay without attending any of the final showings.
BIGFLO's Euijin chose to express his feelings toward fellow street dancer Lee Soo Jung. Euijin also relayed through a video message, "I was so happy from the start that you were someone who understood me so well, and we shared so many similarities, but even so, I doubted myself. When you shed tears, I realized that the time I spent debating was for nothing, and I scolded myself. I felt sorry that I was bad at expressing myself and didn't know how to convey my thoughts. Even if it's late, I want to express my feelings now."
Lee Soo Jung, who expressed her feelings toward Euijin straightforwardly throughout the reality series, also chose Euijin as her final choice, and she greeted Euijin with a smile at their final meeting spot.
Meanwhile, both Kim Seung Hyuk and Oh Hong Hak chose dancer Lee Joo Ri as their final choices. Lee Joo Ri ultimately apologized to Oh Hong Hak and headed toward Kim Seung Hyuk. Likewise, Seo Jae Won received final dance films from both Na Dae Han and Han Sun Chun. In the end, Seo Jae Won chose Han Sun Chun, resulting in a total of three successful couples born from season 1 of 'Somebody'.
Mnet's 'Somebody' will be returning with a new season next spring. Check out clips of Euijin's moments from the final episode, above and below.
