Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae made her first child’s first birthday a memorable occasion, going all out with an extravagant celebration and thoughtful return gifts. On February 18, she shared a heartwarming post revealing the unique return gifts, a Yugi tea fork set, accompanied by a photo that highlighted the exquisite design.

The photo captured the delicate tea fork set, elegantly encased in a pink floral-patterned box, with the words 'Lee Jun Yeon’s First Birthday' engraved on it. The personalized detail added an extra touch of love and care, making it a special gift for the family and friends who attended the celebration.

In addition to the return gifts, Son also gave fans a peek at the birthday cake. “The cake is a giraffe cake, which Jun Yeon loves,” she wrote, showing the personal touch she added to the event. The grand birthday party was held at the prestigious the Shilla Seoul Yeong Bin Gwan, impressing attendees with its wedding-like splendor. Son Yeon Jae married a financial professional, who is nine years her senior, in September 2022. They welcomed their son soon after, marking a new chapter in her life.

In addition to the extravagant birthday celebrations, Son continued her commitment to philanthropy by donating 100 million KRW (about $76,000) to the obstetrics and neonatology departments at Severance Hospital on February 17, in honor of her child's first birthday. This donation follows her previous contribution made after the birth of her son last year.
