
Actress Suzy has donated ₩100 million(~68,000 USD) to support those affected by the recent wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces, as announced by the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on March 26th.
Her agency shared, “Suzy was moved by news of the spreading wildfires and felt compelled to help in such a desperate time. She sincerely hopes the fires will be extinguished soon and that those affected can return to their daily lives.”
A member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a group of high-value donors, Suzy has consistently contributed to disaster relief efforts since her 2019 donation for the Gangwon wildfire. Her cumulative donations to Hope Bridge now total ₩600 million.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, remarked, “Suzy’s generous donation will serve as a message of hope to many. We will do our utmost to ensure her support reaches those in need.”
