Kim Soo Hyun, who sparked the Song Sam Dong Syndrome with his role in Dream High, is set to release a new version of 'Dreaming' in 2025.
The track, the seventh OST for the upcoming show musical Again 'Dream High', will be released today (March 8) at 6 PM KST across various streaming platforms. The musical is set to premiere on April 5 at the Olympic Park Woori Financial Art Hall.
Originally featured in the 2011 drama Dream High, 'Dreaming' is a pop ballad about pursuing dreams and hope. The song gained legendary status due to its emotional scene where Kim Soo Hyun’s character, Song Sam Dong, struggles with hearing loss during a showcase performance, only to be supported by Suzy’s character, ultimately delivering a powerful stage moment.
Returning to the OST after 14 years, Kim Soo Hyun brings back the heartfelt emotion of the original. The new version also features singer-songwriter Hong Isaac, known for singing 'Fallin’', the theme song for Kim Soo Hyun’s character in Queen of Tears. His warm and emotional vocals add a fresh layer of depth to the track.
Meanwhile, Again 'Dream High' boasts a star-studded OST lineup, including IU, Sunye, Shin Ye Eun, Youngjae, Kim Jaejoong, Changmin, Se7en, and Jang Dongwoo. The show musical will run from April 5 to June 1 at the Olympic Park Woori Financial Art Hall.
