On March 27 at approximately 1:30 PM KST, attorney Boo Ji Suk of Law Firm Buyou appeared at a press conference at Space Share, Gangnam Station, in Seocho-dong, Seoul, representing the bereaved family members of the late actress Kim Sae Ron.

According to attorney Boo Ji Suk, Kim Sae Ron had the following conversation with an acquaintance after receiving the legal notice by Gold Medalist, demanding that she pay 700 million KRW in damages caused by her DUI accident. 

Kim Sae Ron: No. The contract says 7:3 so technically the company should pay 30 percent of the damages but they got me to agree to paying 100 percent. They tricked me.

Acquaintance: Are they insane? F***ing seriously. If they don't respond, it's you die and I die.

Kim Sae Ron: This is really important. If they knew and still sent this to me. I don't have a single penny to my name.

Acquaintance: They should at least contact you or something. How can they just forward you a legal notice without warning like that?

Kim Sae Ron: They're basically saying, you should kill yourself.

Acquaintance: Not even 70 million but 700 million? This isn't right. Did you contact your ex-boyfriend? Did he reply? How is anyone supposed to cough up f***ing 700 million overnight.

Kim Sae Ron: I know. That's why I'm about to lose it right now.

Acquaintance: No I get you, I'm about to blow a fuse right now too. Those b******s. Ha....

Kim Sae Ron: They're all trash, every single one of them. They won't answer me no matter what. I'm having a f***ing meltdown right now.

Acquaintance: Ha... that Queen of whatever Kim Soo Hyun that b****** better f*** off. Noona, you're a good person so you can meet someone waaaaaaaaay better.

Kim Sae Ron: Hahhhhhh my first love. My whole world just crumbled.

Acquaintance: I mean you dated for 6 years so I get it.. Just think of it as a learning experience, let everything that you're feeling sink in, and then let them all go downstream. You can do it, Kim Ahim.

In particular, the late actress's comments such as "They're basically saying, you should kill yourself" and "My whole world just crumbled" caused significant shock among onlookers. 

In addition, attorney Boo refuted the claims that the "aunt" who initially came forward with information about Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun was "fake" and "not blood related". In a series of KakaoTalk messages exchanged between Kim Sae Ron and the "aunt", they two individuals demonstrated their close bond:

Kim Sae Ron: Kekekekeke. Auntie, come over. I made way too much biji jjigae. Come take some home.

"Aunt": You know biji jjigae is ○○'s favorite kekekeke. ○○ said that he was going to go over to your house if he got in touch with you, but he couldn't get in touch with you or ○○ so he took a subway home first thing in the morning keke"

"Aunt": I want to because it makes me happy.

"Aunt": I'm bring you some gejang on the 29th.

While wrapping up the press conference, attorney Boo commented, "There is plenty more evidence that Kim Sae Ron's 'aunt' was closer to her than anyone."

Regarding the individual who claimed to be Kim Sae Ron's ex-boyfriend, attorney Boo said, "Please contact me as soon as possible, as you may be facing heavy legal repercussions." 

Lastly, the attorney relayed, "The bereaved family members would like to ask that people stop the indiscriminate attacks and criticism directed toward them. They also do not wish to target Kim Soo Hyun. Please stop your speculations and attacks directed at Kim Soo Hyun as well."
