G-DRAGON will heat up Bangkok as he makes his appearance on the new K-POP show K-STAR SPARK this year.

According to his agency, Galaxy Corporation, G-DRAGON will perform at K-STAR SPARK on the 22nd of this month at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

K-STAR SPARK, which will be held for the first time this year, is a performance designed to match the growing global influence of K-POP. The event is expected to mark the beginning of a new era for the K-POP show scene, with a more evolved format.

As a trendsetter and global icon of innovation and challenge, G-DRAGON's participation as the first performer of K-STAR SPARK has sparked immense anticipation. The main performance, held at Thailand’s largest stadium with a seating capacity of 50,000, will offer an interactive concept where the audience will not just watch, but actively participate. 

G-DRAGON is expected to deliver an electrifying experience, creating an intimate connection with his 50,000 fans.

G-DRAGON made a global impact last year with the release of his digital single POWER on October 7, marking his return after 7 years. His new track HOME SWEET HOME was also released last year in November, in collaboration with fellow Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung.

HOME SWEET HOME dominated major domestic music charts right after its release, and continues to hold the top spots on real-time, daily, and weekly charts. The song also claimed the number-one position on Melon and Genie Music’s monthly charts for two consecutive months.

Additionally, on January 28th, footage from the Yellow Coin Collection Charity Event in France, featuring a performance with Taeyang and G-DRAGON's solo stage, went viral as soon as it was released. The video quickly climbed to second place on YouTube's trending videos list (as of January 31st), highlighting G-DRAGON's global influence.
