Former SECRET member Song Jieun has shared her thoughts on her recent marriage to YouTuber Park We, amid ongoing rumors of discord with former groupmate Sunhwa.

On October 9th, Song Jieun held her wedding ceremony with Park We at a location in Gangnam, Seoul. Park We has been using a wheelchair since a 2014 accident that left him with a spinal cord injury and full-body paralysis.

Despite these challenges, the couple's strong love has inspired many, and they have now started their journey as husband and wife.

On October 12th, Song Jieun took to Instagram to share her feelings about the marriage: 

"On October 9, 2024, we became husband and wife. I thank my beloved Heavenly Father and the Lord who allowed us a perfect day, even the weather was flawless, lacking nothing. I now stand at the starting point of creating the beautiful family I have dreamed of since childhood. Though I was often immature and self-centered, it was God's endless love that allowed me to find my life's purpose in Him and to love my life."

She continued, "God, now I will not only love my life, but with (Park) We oppa, whom You have sent me, I will live as a small church, serving our neighbors, loving each other, and praising God. Before God and everyone present here today, I vow in the name of Jesus Christ to treasure and love We oppa with all my strength for the rest of my life. I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, the director of our lives and the provider of all things. Amen."

Jieun debuted in the entertainment industry in 2009 as a member of the four-member group Secret. Notably, Secret members Hyosung and Hana attended the wedding, but Sunhwa's absence reignited rumors of discord between her and Song Jieun.
