In the upcoming episode of MBN's 'Decision to Divorce,' airing on Sunday, October 20 at 10 PM, Robert Holley, a naturalized Korean TV personality, meets with veteran actress Sunwoo Yong Yeo as he opens up about his marriage struggles.
This episode marks a special encounter between the two, with Holley confessing the challenges of his married life and seeking wisdom from Sunwoo Yong Yeo, who has been in the entertainment industry for 60 years.
Previously, Robert Holley and his wife, Myung Hyun Sook, visited lawyer Roh Jong Un for a divorce consultation but left without signing the divorce agreement. In this episode, Myung Hyun Sook finally decides to proceed with a "Divorce reconsideration period," agreeing to a period of reflection. The two decided to remain separated for some time and experience what it would be like to be divorced. As Myung Hyun Sook prepares to leave for Gwangju from Seoul Station, Robert sees her off at the train station before heading to meet Sunwoo Yong Yeo.
Robert Holley shares the special bond he has with Sunwoo, saying, "When the whole world turned its back on me, she was the one who called and expressed her concern."
During their heartfelt reunion, the two exchange updates about their lives. Sunwoo Yong Yeo asks, "Are you getting along well with your wife?" Robert Holley, visibly uncomfortable, admits, "Actually, I was the one who first suggested divorce," bowing his head. Surprised, Sunwoo responds bluntly, "I don't think you're the type to suggest divorce first." She then advises, "Raising three sons isn't easy. Maybe the two of you should go on a trip together."
Sunwoo Yong Yeo goes on to share her personal experience, saying, "It wasn’t until I lost my husband nine years ago that I realized how precious time with family is," imparting her own 'Marriage 101' lessons to Robert. However, Robert Holley opens up further, saying, "I used to be a respected father, but because of my wife…" trailing off as he reveals his inner struggles. Sunwoo responds with a direct and witty comment, "You want to be the head of the household, don't you?" lighting up the conversation with her candid humor.
