Korean netizens have recently speculated about who the next model for Kyochon Chicken, one of Korea's leading fried chicken brands, could be.

On October 18, Kyochon Chicken posted a new poster revealing it had selected a new model for the brand through its official social media account. The leading fried chicken brand explained, "A new face for Kyochon Chicken appears on October 23. The hottest icon of today has joined Kyochon Chicken! Who is the NEW ICON of Kyochon Chicken, appearing for the first time in years...?"

The announcement included a photo of the new model, except, it only showed the bottom half of his face, and included the caption, "Guess who?"

Korean netizens gathered in a popular online community to take playful jabs at who this new model might be since it was too obvious who it was.

They commented:

"Wow, I'm so bad at guessing these things but this is so obvious that it's Byun Woo Seok."

"Congrats Byun Woo Seok lol."

"This is so hard to guess! LOL."
