On September 1, solo artist eaJ officially kicked off his 'when the rain stopped following me' tour in Manila, Philippines.
The artist opened the show with his remarkable performances of "Voices," "Come Over," "Burn," and "Visions," showcasing his top-notch vocal prowess. After giving such stages, eaJ gave his first ment where he talked about how challenging it is to be a solo artist, from crafting your own music to being in this competitive music industry, that it takes a lot of effort to be even standing on a stage as this kind of opportunity is one-of-kind for artists.
His setlist also includes "Friendly Fire," "Right Where You Left Me," "In My Civic," "LA Stars," and "Car Crash," among others.
"I knew the energy was good. You're making me do the set twice," said eaJ. "Thank you so much, Manila for being hospitable."
"You show me love, I can do nothing but show you more love. Thank you for the beautiful night tonight, Manila."
"They say you're doing great, but it feels like they're lying to you. It feels like you're not enough. It feels like you don't deserve them," said eaJ before proceeding to sing "Castle in the Sky."
The fans also wished eaJ an advance happy birthday, surprising him with a cake on stage. "Thank you for this beautiful cake," he expressed.
"Thank you so much for having us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I'm happy that we started the tour in Manila. I wish that next time, I could see all of you guys in Manila again. Thank you again for coming!"
