It's been belatedly revealed that BTS member SUGA will not appear for his police questioning today (August 22 KST), contrary to claims made by some media outlets a day earlier.
Previously on August 21 KST, one media outlet claimed that SUGA's police questioning has been scheduled for August 22 KST. The report also stated that SUGA did not intend to address the press prior to his summons.
Following this news, numerous reporters began staking out in front of the Seoul Yongsan Police Station early in the morning, hoping to capture footage of SUGA appearing at the station.
However, according to the police as of August 22 at 10 AM KST, SUGA's police questioning date is "still being scheduled".
[UPDATE] A representative of Big Hit Music has also confirmed as of August 22 KST, "SUGA will not appear for his police questioning today. We apologize for correcting the false news report late. At this time, we cannot answer when his questioning will take place."
