NewJeans' Fan "Bunnies" sends condolence wreaths to HYBE headquarters in support of ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
The fanbase of NewJeans, called Bunnies, sent condolence wreaths to the front of the HYBE headquarters in support of ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. The wreaths were placed from the July 30 KST until the August 1 KST of the following month.
The protest was organized by the NewJeans gallery on the online community site DC Inside. The gallery consists mainly of supporters of CEO Min, who has been in conflict with HYBE, and they planned this event to show their support for her.
However, the protest became controversial even before it began. Coincidentally, on the same day and at the same location, a birthday event for Kim Chaewon, a member of the Source Music group LE SSERAFIM, was scheduled to take place.
