Korean netizens are curious about why the new band QWER, created by YouTuber Kim Gyeran under Tamago Production, hasn't appeared on any music programs.
Despite their rising popularity and strong music chart performance, the group has not yet made an appearance on any major music shows. Fans and online community users have begun to question why the band has not appeared on any music programs when YouTubers Tanaka and Needmorecash appeared on SBS's 'The Show' with their single "Good Night Ojosama."
One netizen shared their speculation on Nate Pann and shared, "I thought there would be a lot of music show fancams since they were so popular, but I couldn't find any. I was just wondering why there weren't any, and then I saw some clips of Chodan and Magenta from their female cam days. I was really shocked. It's not that they aren't appearing; they can't appear. There was a reason they weren't invited to public broadcasts. People say it's because of their lack of skill, but music shows can be pre-recorded too."
The netizen continued, "Given that 'Good Night' even appeared on the broadcast, it's very obvious why... They must be the most disappointed, not realizing they would become so successful... If they appeared on public broadcasts, they could have been on variety shows and shot commercials. They must be really eager, but that seems like a big flaw."
Korean netizens commented:
"They seem to have stopped doing those broadcasts because they want to focus on their group activities. Even if their past causes some discomfort, I don't understand why people keep opening threads to criticize them regularly."
"You've been waiting a lot for QWER's music show performances, haven't you? They will start from the next album, so please hang in there and wait a little longer! ^^"
"QWER already has a mountain of university festival performances lined up, so they don't need to do those shows. ^^ Only those with no events and lots of free time are desperate for music shows."
"People who criticize QWER are often dismissed as being jealous or engaging in petty infighting among women. If QWER members were to have dating rumors, these critics would start with sexual harassment and, if they got married, they would dig up old videos to angrily rant about them. It's honestly ridiculous."
"I heard that QWER has already earned 500 million KRW (~361,248.35 USD) per member."
