ARTMS' Haseul addressed rumors that she's from a chaebol family.

This past May, Haseul was reported to have purchased a villa in Itaewon worth 2.4 billion won ($1,734,780.96 USD), sparking rumors she came from an incredibly rich family. However, on July 4, Haseul and Kim Lip held a live stream for fans, and she addressed the rumors.

Haseul explained, "I'm not a chaebol," adding that the reports about her purchasing a villa in Itaewon were a lie. She then stated the rumors were so rampant that even her manager was asking if they were true. Because the reports were so convincing, Haseul revealed she even called her mom to confirm there wasn't a house under her name in Itaewon.

Haseul then ended the stream by saying she absolutely does not have a luxury villa.
