Aespa's Karina expressed her admiration for Hyeri on the new episode of Hyeri's YouTube show 'Hyell's Club.'
In the latest episode that aired on June 7, Karina appeared as a special guest and spent time with Hyeri, engaging in conversations on various topics. During the show, Karina mentioned that it has been four years since her debut, prompting Hyeri to reminisce about her own experience at the four-year mark of her career.
Hyeri revealed, "In 2014, we (Girl's Day) did 'Something.' I was 21 back then." Karina was amazed by how young Hyeri was when she debuted and also expressed her admiration for Hyeri's acting career.
Karina shared, "I really liked, you know, your role as Deoksun. The birthday celebration scene when you start crying saying, 'Why are you doing this to only me?' When I saw that scene, I cried my eyes out."
Hyeri asked, "You were in middle school back then, baby Karina could relate to that too?" and Karina shared, "Yes. I rarely cry from watching dramas, but I cried a lot." Hyeri explained, "That scene was one take. It was such an emotional scene, we filmed that scene once. I practiced that scene for almost two months."
