On May 10 KST, SM Entertainment announced the following regarding member Winwin's participation in WayV's June comeback schedules.
The agency revealed,
"Hello,
We wish to inform you about Winwin's involvement in the upcoming activities of WayV.
Due to his commitments with a drama filming schedule in China, Winwin will unfortunately not be able to join WayV for the new album scheduled for release in June.
We understand this news might be disappointing for fans looking forward to WayV's comeback. We sincerely ask for your understanding and support.
We hope you continue to show your enthusiasm and warm support for WayV as they return soon with new music and performances.
Thank you for your continued love and support."
Meanwhile, this will mark WayV's first comeback since the release of their 2nd full album, 'On My Youth', in November of last year.

I can't blame Winwin for getting the opportunity he got, instead of waiting for SM Ent to treat WayV the same they are treating the other NCT units. Understandably, his priority is his acting career now.
And SM is bad at planning, and even worse at communicating with artists and fans.
Anyway, I'm sure that WayV will make a great comeback. The boys are amazing talented and great performers
