According to data from the Netflix TOP 10 website on April 17 KST, the series 'Parasyte: The Grey' secured the top spot in the Netflix Global TOP 10 TV series for the second week in a row, amassing 9.8 million views from April 8th to 14th.
This achievement surpasses even the English-language category leader, '3 Body Problem', which garnered 4.8 million views. 'Parasyte: The Grey' impressively claimed the top position in both English and non-English language categories.
The series also achieved first place rankings in 34 countries, including Korea, Chile, Mexico, Indonesia, and more, with an additional presence in the top 10 in 84 countries worldwide, with Japan notably ranking third.
'Parasyte: The Grey', released on April 5, explores the emergence of parasytes manipulating humans as hosts, countered by the efforts of the dedicated team 'The Grey'. The narrative delves into the coexistence between humans and parasytes, led by protagonist 'Su In' (portrayed by Jeon So Nee), alongside actors Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, and Kim In Kwon.
