On April 15, a press screening for the movie "Crime City 4 - THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT" (directed by Heo Myeong-hang) was held at the Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. Ma Dong Suk, along with Kim Moo Yeol, Park Ji-hwan, Lee Dong Hwi, and director Heo Myeong-hang, attended the event.

Scheduled for release on April 24, "Crime City 4 - (THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT)" features the monstrous detective 'Ma Seok-do' (played by Ma Dong-suk) combating a massive online illegal gambling ring. The ring is led by a mercenary from a special forces unit, 'Baek Chang-ki' (played by Kim Moo-yeol), and a genius IT CEO, 'Jang Dong-chul' (played by Lee Dong-hwi). The movie also marks the return of 'Jang Yi-soo' (played by Park Ji-hwan), who teams up with the investigative and cyber units in this crime-busting adventure.

"Crime City 4" has already achieved the honor of being officially invited to the Berlin International Film Festival. This installment of the series, being the first to be invited, highlights the film’s blend of mass appeal and artistic quality, housed under the Berlinale Special Gala category.

Ma Dong-seok expressed his focus on entertainment for this film, choosing not to delve too deeply into the darker aspects of crime but rather to foster a sense of vigilance and support for the detectives among viewers.

Kim Moo-yeol, playing the antagonist, was praised by Ma Dong-seok for his flexible and impressive acting skills, first noticed during their previous collaboration in "The Villainess". Ma expressed a strong desire to work with Kim again, leading to his casting in "Crime City 4" as the formidable 'Baek Chang-ki'.

Regarding the potential for his character's return in future sequels, Ma hinted at significant changes in tone and various developments, stirring curiosity and anticipation.

Park Ji-hwan, returning as 'Jang Yi-soo', shared his approach to his role, emphasizing the collaborative and creative atmosphere fostered during script meetings, particularly with Ma Dong-seok.

In an interesting reveal, Ma Dong-seok also discussed the guest appearance by profiler Kwon Il-yong, who has a personal connection and contributed significantly to the script's authenticity and depth.

"Crime City 4" aims to continue the success of its predecessors, potentially setting new milestones in the "thirty million series" of popular films.
